belmont park was packed on saturday for the belmont stakes race, the third race of the triple crown, preceded by the kentucky derby and the preakness.
palace malice won, ridden by jockey mike smith.
this year i ended up mostly taking pictures of the v i peeps- insiders. owners, trainers jockeys and their friends. a scene of privilege and charm. milieu of gatsby and talented ripley. pretty waspy. very affluent.
